Hi Guys!

I'm not very good at hobbies.  Unless I can get paid for something or put it under the category of "Helping Others," I find it hard to be motivated to do anything other than hang out with people in an unstructured way.  I have been urged by friends and strangers alike to take up an interest, and I have responded with: "But I have Netflix!  and Facebook!"

But I forgot that I really do like writing.  And after publishing THIS, I remembered that I really really do like it.  I did major in English, and I do have a piece of paper that says I can be trusted to teach kids to write, which I guess says something.  So here is a forum I have created for myself.  And also I have a Twitter account now.  I feel a little awkward about it. 

No pretense here; I don't have any sort of agenda other than to push myself to do something I love just for its own sake.  Also no real themes or mission.  I write better when people actually read the stuff, so read!  Yay for new things.
